Dante J. Cutley is a Los Angeles-based photographer and director whose work spans cinematic editorial, fashion, lifestyle, and visual storytelling. His photography is defined by bold color, dynamic movement, and high-contrast lighting, creating images that balance polished aesthetics with a cinematic sense of atmosphere.
His work has been published internationally, with commissioned photography extending across entertainment, media, and cultural events. In 2025, he served as an on-set photographer for 12 Los Angeles episodes of Decisions, Decisions, producing promotional imagery for the series and its guests.
His work extends across film, documentary, and music video production. His credits include set photography for the short film The Debt, as well as directing and cinematography for music videos by artists DYFYANT and XPR$$N.
As a director and creator, Dante’s projects include the documentary series I’M AN ARTIST and the short film Ghost Photography. In 2026, he conceived, directed, and edited A Matter in Time, a visual film featuring the photography of acclaimed cinematographer and photographer John Simmons, ASC.
In 2024, Dante presented his first solo photography exhibition, The Vision, at The Space at Icon in Los Angeles. Across photography and motion, Dante’s work reflects an evolving visual practice built around storytelling, atmosphere, and a distinct cinematic point of view.

Photographed 12 Los Angeles episodes, creating promotional imagery featuring hosts Mandii B and WeezyWTF and guests including Paul Pierce, KevOnStage, Tahir Moore, and Zuri Hall.

Dante’s work with the hosts also extended to photographing two Los Angeles book-signing events at Reparations Club

Commissioned to photograph the 2024 grand opening of South LA Cafe’s Jefferson location in Los Angeles. Photography from the event was subsequently used in South LA Cafe’s weekly newsletter.
The event included the presentation of a California State Assembly Resolution recognizing South LA Cafe’s service and impact in the community.
